How do I create an account?
To create your account:
1. Download the Teezr app
2. Tap "Sign up"
3. Enter your name, email, and password
4. Accept the terms and conditions
5. Verify your email
Done! You're ready to play.
How do I create my first game?
To create your first game:
1. Go to the main screen
2. Tap the "+" or "New Game" button
3. Select the golf course
4. Select or create the foursome (player group)
5. Configure the challenges you want to play
6. Tap "Create Game"
As the organizer, you'll be able to invite players and configure all the challenges.
How do I join a game?
There are two ways to join:
1. INVITATION:
- You'll get a notification
- Tap the invite
- Accept to join
2. CODE:
- Ask the organizer for the code
- Go to "Join Game"
- Enter the code
- Confirm your participation
Games & Rounds
What can the organizer do?
The organizer has special permissions:
✅ Create the game
✅ Invite and remove players
✅ Configure all challenges
✅ Modify challenges before start
✅ Start the round
✅ Cancel the game
✅ See everyone's scores
NOTE: Once the game starts, challenges can't be modified.
What can a regular player do?
Regular players can:
✅ View the game and setup
✅ Enter their own scores
✅ See everyone's scores
✅ See challenges they're part of
✅ See live balances
✅ Leave the game (before it starts)
❌ They CANNOT:
- Modify challenges
- Invite players
- Change setup
- See challenges they're not part of
When and how do I start the round?
To start the round:
1. Make sure you have:
✅ At least 2 players
✅ At least 1 challenge configured
✅ All players confirmed
2. As organizer, tap "Start Round"
3. Once started:
- Challenges can no longer be changed
- Players can't be added/removed
- Score entry begins
IMPORTANT: Review your setup carefully before starting.
How do I enter my scores?
To enter your scores:
1. During the round, go to the current hole
2. Tap your player card
3. Enter your strokes
4. Optionally: log fairway, putts, etc.
5. Confirm the score
TIPS:
- You can edit scores from previous holes
- Scores sync in real time
- Everyone can see your scores
- Challenges are calculated automatically
Challenges
How do I configure challenges?
To configure challenges:
1. When creating the game, select "Add Challenge"
2. Choose the challenge type
3. Configure the details:
- Amount per challenge
- Players who participate
- Strokes (handicaps)
- Specific rules
4. Confirm the challenge
You can add multiple challenges to the same game.
REMEMBER: Only the organizer can configure challenges.
How do strokes / handicaps work?
Strokes level the playing field:
TYPES:
1. COURSE HANDICAP:
- Based on your official handicap
- Calculated automatically
- Most accurate and fair
2. HISTORY:
- Based on previous Teezr games
- Adjusts based on your performance
- Tightens or loosens based on individual press results
3. NO STROKES:
- Everyone plays scratch
- No adjustments
RECEIVE strokes: subtracted from your score
GIVE strokes: opponent receives strokes
Example: If you receive 1 stroke on a hole and score 5, your net is 4.
How do Presses work?
Presses are the most exciting system:
🎯 CONCEPT:
- You play hole by hole against opponents
- Front 9 (holes 1-9): $X
- Back 9 (holes 10-18): $X
🔥 PRESSES:
- A press opens at the start
- If you lose a hole, another press opens
- You win when you win a hole
- You can have multiple presses open at once
💫 CARRY:
- If 9 holes finish tied, it "carries"
- The press continues into the back 9
🏆 MATCH PLAY:
- Add Press 1 from both halves
- Best balance wins the bonus
Why don't I see every challenge?
For privacy and clarity:
✅ YOU SEE:
- Challenges YOU are part of
- Your specific matchups
- Your balances
❌ YOU DON'T SEE:
- Challenges you're not part of
- Other players' matchups
- Other players' balances
Example:
If there are 3 Press challenges:
- Challenge 1: A vs B
- Challenge 2: C vs D
- Challenge 3: A vs C
Player A only sees challenges 1 and 3.
This keeps your screen clean and focused on your game.
Who participates in each challenge?
It depends on the setup:
📋 MEDAL:
- All players in the foursome
- Individual competition
🔥 INDIVIDUAL PRESSES:
- You can pick specific players
- Each player competes against the others picked
- You can have several challenges with different groups
👥 COUPLES PRESSES:
- Exactly 4 players
- Two teams of two are formed
⛳ HOLE BY HOLE:
- You can pick specific players
- All compete with each other on every hole
YOU ONLY SEE challenges you're in.

- Downgrade: applies at the end of the current period
- You can cancel any time
- You don't lose data when switching
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel:
1. Menu (☰) → "Billing"
2. Tap "Manage Subscription"
3. Select "Cancel Subscription"
4. Confirm cancellation

- You can use Pro until the end of the paid period
- No refunds for unused time
- Your data is kept
- You can reactivate any time

Where can I see my payment history?
To see your history:

2. Tap "Payment History"
3. You'll see all your transactions
For each payment you'll see:
- Date
- Amount
- Payment method
- Receipt (downloadable)
You also receive receipts by email.

How do I edit my profile?
To edit your profile:
1. Menu (☰) → "My Profile"
2. Tap the edit icon (✏️)
3. You can change:
- Name
- Profile photo
- Personal info
- Official handicap
4. Save your changes
Your info updates across all your games.
How do I change my password?
To change your password:
1. Menu (☰) → "Settings"
2. Tap "Security"
3. Select "Change Password"
4. Enter:
- Current password
- New password
- Confirm new password
5. Save your changes
🔒 SECURITY TIPS:
- Use at least 8 characters
- Combine letters, numbers, and symbols
- Don't reuse a password from another site
How do I configure notifications?
To configure notifications:
1. Menu (☰) → "Settings"
2. Tap "Notifications"
3. Toggle on/off:
- Game invitations
- Score updates
- Challenge results
- Friend messages
- Reminders
You can customize each notification type.
Troubleshooting
My scores aren't syncing
If your scores aren't updating:
1. Check your internet connection
2. Close and reopen the app
3. Make sure you're in the right game
4. Try entering the score again
If the issue persists:
- Check that you have the latest version of the app
- Close other apps to free memory
- Restart your phone
Scores are saved locally and sync when there's a connection.
The app crashes on its own
If the app closes unexpectedly:
1. UPDATE THE APP:
- Go to your app store
- Search for Teezr updates
- Install the latest version
2. CLEAR CACHE:
- Phone Settings
- Apps → Teezr
- Clear cache (NOT data)
3. REINSTALL:
- Uninstall Teezr
- Reinstall from the store
- Sign in again
Your data is safe in the cloud.
I forgot my password
To recover your password:
1. On the Login screen, tap "Forgot your password?"
2. Enter your email
3. Tap "Send link"
4. Check your email
5. Click the link you received
6. Create a new password
7. Sign in with the new password
📧 If you don't get the email:
- Check spam/junk folder
- Verify the email is correct
- Wait a few minutes and try again
